Alongside ("the App") is an accountability and focus app developed by Baebulla Studio. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App does — and does not — collect.
Alongside does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically, the App:
The App saves your commitments, focus session history, streaks, companion progress, and settings locally on your own device only, using standard on-device storage. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer or any third party. Uninstalling the App, or using its "Delete All Data" option, permanently removes this data.
Alongside schedules reminder and summary notifications (for example, "it's time to start" or a nightly recap) entirely on your device, using your device's own notification system. These notifications are generated from your locally stored data and are never sent from, or reported back to, a server.
The App's installation package includes the standard Android internet permission used by the underlying app framework. Alongside does not use this permission to send, receive, or transmit any personal or usage data.
Alongside does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
If this policy changes in the future (for example, if accounts, cloud sync, or online features are ever added), this page will be updated and the date above will reflect the change.
